District 3 (Southwest) US191: Closed to commercial vehicles over 40,000 GVWR until April 1, 2017. between Rock Springs and the Utah state line. WATCH FOR WILDLIFE on US 189 between LaBarge and Big Piney and on US 191 between Farson and Boulder. The Wyoming Department of Transportation has scheduled a closure of Teton Pass for tomorrow, Tuesday February 21, 2017, at 3:00am for avalanche control. Reduced visibility, winter driving conditions, and increasing avalanche hazard may force an earlier closure. Snow slides that reach the highway will prolong the closure. No overnight parking at the summit of Teton Pass will be strictly enforced. Highway travelers and backcountry users are advised to plan accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
